Pyrovar Dragons live at high altitudes in areas with lots of volcanic activity. They are commonly associated with geysers and hot springs and enjoy soaking in the scalding water. Females bury their eggs in these areas warmed by geothermal energy and abandon them soon after. As a result, these dragons are territorial and solitary from a young age. Despite their affinity with water they have powerful flame breath and fire magic. They are entirely carnivorous and utilize a variety of hunting styles, from chasing down prey from the air to lying in wait beneath the water’s surface to ambush any unwitting creatures that wander by.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Independent since birth, who I aaaaam was frustrated by the other children's neediness and was proud that she didn't need to attend school like the rest of the lot. Since many dragons felt this child couldn't run amok all day, they enrolled her in school anyway. She's pretty sure she could learned mathematics, language, and whatever without being forced to sit in class and being subjected to adults' attempts to mold her. Every time her curiosity and rebelliousness got out of hand, she was punished. Perhaps there are other schools that are decent, but who I aaaaam really disliked this one. She fled the territory after about a year, leaving the region altogether. After some years wandering around and picking up general knowledge and trivia about the world, she settled down in a hot jungle with an attractive lake. The resident xenowyrm, fortunately, did not mind and actually found her perspective interesting. They quickly became friends when they learned of their love for singing loudly.
