It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Unicursal is a pastor of the Wellness Wing, where she teaches personal skills, shares strategies for wellbeing and good living, and aids members with her powers of fertility. In the evening, she reads a lot of books and essays in her hut and plans out activities for her group. She and the most involved members live in a little cave network, away from the negative influence of bad dragons, and they work together and share all their resources, attestation of their harmony. The Wellness Wing has had a wing in three charitable operations in Amevian Shi, and Unicursal herself has helped in several disaster relief efforts over the years. They have the approval of many, many inhabitants all over Amevia, but there's also a growing number who have made disparaging statements about the Wellness Wing. Unicursal is nearly unaffected by these critics, and she knows they play no part in the greater goal of the Wellness Wing, where everyone, together, goes to the Morrow Land.
