Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. But... where are its legs?

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Urru is terse and usually looks confused, but her tutor notes that she's a bright little munchkin and there's nothing to worry about. She hopes to be seen as the silent and observant type that no one can predict. In the future, she wants to be a swashbuckler. She doesn't know what that is, but it sounds neat, and it doesn't sound like the sort of thing a giant, deathly wyrm will have trouble doing.
