Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes to perch on the high branches of the taller trees and look longingly up at the sky.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

As a member of the group of twisted Canopy Dragons, Shocked is a stunted hatchling that is afraid of everything. Any visitors to the group find that she'll run from them if they try to interact; if anyone does manage catch her, then the hatchling will start to shriek until they let her go. Shocked trembles all the time, shivering not from the cold but from some sort of permanent fear.

Her interactions with the other members are usually forced, since she is always trying to escape. Aggression, the only dragon who looks upon the hatchlings with a motherly view, tries to comfort the young hatchling but cannot ever get her to calm down. The two male leaders of the group, Silver and Gold, ignore her, though Gold takes it upon himself to smirk at her when he sees her.
