Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Laweleka, like all of the tribe's silver dragons, lives on the island of Molehu. He received his name like all silvers; his actions, looks, and personality were inspected by the elders and then summed up in a word in Hawaiian. His name means "mail carrier".

Laweleka loves his job, really, he does. He doesn't mind the stifling heat of summer when he lugs a giant sack around or the bitter cold of winter when he slips and slides from place to place. He doesn't mind flying with awkward bundles in his mouth, like those packages of 1000 rat tongues (though why anyone would want them he hasn't a clue). He doesn't even mind the itchy hat he wears. But for the love of the Almighty Postal Service, he just wants people to chain up their dogs! Really, that Pomeranian down the street took a chunk of his thigh the other day.
