Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Kudzit (Kood-ziht) is one of the many children of Kudzulu and Kudzara.  So far, she is the only one who has shown an interest in remaining in the Bitterwind Valley with her parents.  She digs holes like a fiend, seemingly never content with where she has planted herself.  Her many holes sometimes cause tripping hazards to the adult dragons, but the other hatchlings enjoy using them for playing hide and seek.
