Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kudzulu was another rescued egg—apparently Pharolux has returned to the abandoned egg ledge periodically and brought in more. Once grown, he entrenched himself at the main entrance to the valley on the south side where the river meanders away towards the distant ocean. Once he was stationed there, virtually all threats to the dragons and their young were eliminated. Any human or creature foolish enough to attempt passing the 'thick jungle' at the entrance are summarily eaten. Friends who know the secret ways, or the few who actually manage to skirt the dragon grass tangle are the only visitors the valley clan receives. They don't seem to mind, and the hunters will often toss game towards the snapping vines. On moonlit nights, Kudzulu is often seen poking his head out and singing beautifully to the night sky. No one is certain why, but they don't mind.
