Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Radiant Snow didn't like writing very much—even loathing producing a two-sentence report about the weather—until a traveling mage tower stopped at her cave network one December, and there, her guardian bought her a book called a "thesaurus". Inside it were a great number of words with synonyms and near-synonyms, and she was enthralled with all the possibilities.

Now Radiant Snow loves writing, and whenever a word looks too minuscule, she'll investigate the pages of the thesaurus to encounter a more voluminous, more satisfying designation. She doesn't apperceive what the preponderance of the words portend or if she's applying them legitimately, but if they're comparable in meaning to the morphemes she's replacing, they can't be that distant.

Radiant Snow hasn't seen the tower or its arcana and geminae owners again, but she's grateful for them and hopes they can visit sometime. Her friends hope to see the store again as well; perhaps they can buy her a dictionary.
