Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Be Nice or Else is sprightly and nosy. He was the dimmest hatchling in the nest when he was a child, and he hasn't improved much since growing up. He can't hold still for long and bounces when asked to, and when he's on the move, he walks around and pushes others with his shoulders or head, sometimes bumping into them hard enough to really hurt them. When they slap or punch him for his lack of manners and tact, he goes dramatically flying but otherwise seems unharmed. Even after a couple of hours of walking and bouncing, Be Nice or Else displays no fatigue, a fact everyone else notes would make him very frightening if he ever turned black and brown with rage. Fortunately for all of the dragons who can't stand him, he is easily defeated by walls and fences, even those he could step over.
