Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While Tnora didn't need the Singer of Souls' help, she joined the strange moonstone to get across the South Ocean from the mainland to the Eye of the Storm, the easternmost island of the South Sisters. The Singer actually used Tnora's name when referring to her, rather than gibberish like she often does for others.

Tnora and her mate, Qiaxo, are part of the Clan of Storme. The two are very close despite the age difference between them, which Emeralis vocally complains about. Of course, he seems to hate anything he doesn't understand, and Tnora simply assumes that love is one of those things. It doesn't bother her, and she tries to keep Qia from being offended by "the most dim-witted dragon on the island", as she calls him. Hartmere thinks their relationship is beautiful, and as a heartseeker, he should know.

When Tnora fumbles—she is rather clumsy with her claws—Qia is always there to help out. The one thing they can't do for each other is mate—but some males are willing to help.
