Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sparkly Gas Passer received her moniker from an incident that will be remembered for a while: everyone stood at attention at the First Sands Temple, ready to receive a revelation from the Sinomorph Herself. As the Sinomorph Herself coalesced on the dais, Sparkly Gas Passer, unable to find an exit route in time, let out a giant fart, blowing orange dust into the faces of the dragons behind her. The Sinomorph Herself remarked upon the odor, wiggled her Exalted Hands, and disappeared. To this day, it's debated whether her comment was the revelation or if she left without bestowing one. Sparkly Gas Passer hoped that by not drawing attention to this nickname she disliked, people eventually would get bored of using it, but this seems to not be the case, since that's the only name she's called now.
