Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Trigold was quickly ushered over to a female striped dragon named White Glide in an attempt to preserve their species within the Clan, and he was very happy to accept the proposal, as he and his mate get along very well. He works in the Village of Streamfell, helping farmers to keep their crops free of pests; in return, they offer shelter and healthcare, as well as the occasional treat. Because of this, he doesn't have much contact with the other dragons of his Clan except for his immediate family, but socializes mostly with humans and their pets. He can be friendly, but is rather attentive to his duty and is easily distracted from a conversation by a tasty-looking bug.
