Avin Pygmies are known for being both numerous and highly adaptable. These omnivorous and opportunistic pygmies have been found in every habitat and usually live in large colonies. They can typically be heard before they’re seen; humans and dragons alike generally consider Avin Pygmies a nuisance because of their loud, screechy calls. With few defenses, Avin Pygmies will simply take flight and try to escape in any direction as fast as they can when threatened.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Prattling's full name is Prattling Forest Sweets (something) Had It Not (something) See Us Deliver (something something) Harmony. It's so long that he can't remember it all. He loathes going near the Sunk-Knee Marsh because two plants abundant there look like scary grabby hands, and also, the water is gross, but he's very fond of the noddle cap, a mushroom that only grows in that marsh. For the reasonable price of five noddle caps an hour, Prattling can be hired to flutter around building tops, windows, and eaves, loudly advertising any product his hirer wants. What he doesn't publicly advertise is that for a variable price of noddle caps, he can share a piece of information he got from eavesdropping around town. Some of the juiciest, most damning items can cost as many as 600 noddle caps, which is still more than a fair trade in the eyes of many buyers. Whenever such a trade occurs, dozens of members of Prattling's flock fly down to help him carry the goods.
