Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Algesia resides on the balmy Western Echo coasts, where many purifier birds make their nests. Some folks have different names for these creatures, but residents of Echo call them purifier birds because they purify the land of the dead and decaying by eating them. These majestic scavengers recycle the energy in the dead animals that few others will eat and are too big for the worms and little critters to tackle. They don't even need life mana or magic, which Algesia finds amazing. There have been rumors of the existence of dragon breeds that scavenge, but nobody here's ever seen one, and some folks aren't sure such dragons even exist. Though the purifier birds don't know it, Algesia and a handful of close friends and family are their guardians, preventing humans and other dragons, their only predators, from targeting them.
