Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Azulliane is Master of illusions, just like his mate Zourah. He spends most of his time laying on clouds, making Forrest's territory nothing but cliffs to scare off scavengers and rivals. He often leaves the clan territory to go and mess around with human's heads.  For one, he likes sending false predictions to human fortune tellers just to see the town revolt against that human. Of course, Azulliane is up in the clouds, snickering. He and Zourah make a fearsome pair, making long illusions that only affect the enemy. Yet Azulliane is super sensitive to other dragon's feelings and stays far away from the infirmary. Since no one notices Wynd, Azulliane and his egg are the only dragons in the sky. He is also said to be a another form of the murdered daydream hatchling, Azulia. That's where you'll find him sleeping or laughing at a joke, up in the clouds.
