Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tharinye, eldest of his clan's dragons, is fairly conceited. He refuses to admit to being wrong or making a mistake, and is known to hound with unfavorable weather whomever he is irritated with at the time (until, that is, another unfortunate creature catches his annoyance.) He flirts on a whim with any dragon he deems attractive but is far more selective when courting with intent; he is unwaveringly loyal to whomever he decides merits his esteem and dotes on his mates. Maati Nyaarya is currently his only committed mate.

Tharinye spends much of his time creating artistic and often intricate weather patterns- he is particularly fond of less common types of cloud formations and strategic placement of lightning. He typically does not involve himself with the day-to-day safeguarding of the clan, but will, with some complaint, pitch in with storm-conjuring when a threat looms.
