White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Asteiron, who is a white dragon, is probably the one who loves the keeper of this scroll the most. She and her keeper can spend hours sitting at the top of a hill talking and philosophising or just watching the shadows of the clouds gliding over the hills and dales. Asteiron's passion are books. She tries to read everything that has ever been written. Her biggest wish thereby is to find a way to use her healing powers for bringing back the dead—the last and only border for her magic. She would of course use a skill like that only to bring back the ones who have died innocent and too early—especially children which Asteiron likes very much.
