White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Luzerne is a healer who specializes in the treatment of young dragons.  When any new hatchling arrives, it is given a thorough examination and a report is given to the cave mother. As most of the hatchlings have been extremely healthy, he is growing bored.  <br/>He hopes to branch out in the area of nursing mothers.  He is somewhat foiled in this by working mostly with his own kind, who are not equipped for this type of activity and give him strange looks when he suggests they try.  Nevertheless, he continues to study the techniques for this area and hopes to someday find a way to put them to use.
