Equinox Dragons are a highly vocal, migratory breed, easy to find when they are traveling through an area and incredibly scarce otherwise. They are extremely skilled at following dates and times based off the movement of the sun and the moons, and follow their lengthy migration routes like clockwork. Large flocks of Equinoxes can darken the skies, and their calls, which sound like eerie flutes, can be heard from a great distance. Equinoxes are very social, and hatchlings are cared for communally by the entire group—it’s rare to see a solitary Equinox, and any stragglers who don’t have a flock will often attempt to join groups of other breeds of dragon.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

He tends to be quite stiff for an Equinox. Castle (his nickname) has this delusion that he needs to be seen as regal and better than everyone else in the room. Where he got such delusions and why has yet to be answered, but the result is clear as day. He loves collecting shiny objects and trinkets to wear around his parents' parties. He moves with much style and grace and grooms himself fastidiously in order to look his finest at all times. Castle is highly particular about who he chooses to be around. He sees his siblings as a couple of jokes, so will typically associate with the finest dragons he can find during the parties. If these dragons happen to disappoint him, he ghosts them completely. Castle doesn't seem to view friends or family as important sources of love, affection, and companionship. Rather, he sees having friends as a status symbol, especially if those friends have power, good looks, or riches. It's a sad reality he lives in, and he doesn't even know the tragedy of it.
