Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s almost disappointingly plain.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Disappointingly Alive can't put her finger on why she feels something important was meant to occur to her but didn't. And her name is puzzling, but no matter whom she asks or complains to, they always say a great power determined it and something-something destiny whatever. She has a huge memory gap between when she was about nine years old to about a year ago, and occasionally, she still has moments where everything around her looks and feels completely new before remembering where she is. Her peers are nice to her and she has several friends, but most of them act strangely—it's hard to describe—sympathetic when they spend time together. Disappointingly Alive enjoys listening to stories about mundane things and works on bettering her magic skills when she's not busy, though when doing the latter, she stays away from life, time, and death mana specifically because those give her nausea for some reason.
