Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Filius de Mei Tortitudo. Son of My Wickedness. The name would follow him like a brand for the rest of his life. He was scorned, and spit upon whenever the other dragons of his clan came within range. He was hated, especially by Decorum, and it isn't even his fault.

Filius is an illegitimate son. His mother, Fervensa, conceived him not of her mate, Decorum, but of Oriens Candidum, the son of her flame of old. Fervensa was so ashamed, the she named her child Son of my Wickedness, and sent him to live with Candidus and Femina, feeling that he would feel more at ease with other dragons of his kind. Of all of the dragons in the clan, only Filius' adopted family treat him kindly. But perhaps one day he will find a dragoness. Perhaps then he will be accepted. Only time will tell.
