Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Oriens Cadidum has an interesting and complex history, but even more interesting is the story of how he got his name. You see, before his father, Candidus Argentum, met his mother, Femina de Candidus, Candidus was quite smitten with another, very beautiful dragon. Her name was Fervensa Angelus de Oriens, and Candidus dedicated hours to her amusement, trying to win her away from her own mate, Decorus. That young romance eventually gave way to the more mature love that Candidus now shares with Femina de Candidus, but Candidus never did forget what he felt for Fervensa. He decided to name his first child after her. It is unknown as to whether or not his mate Femina knows where her firstborn's name originated, but if she is aware she does not show it.
