This breed of dragon results from eggs or hatchlings that have been neglected. They are usually rebellious, not obeying their masters, sometimes even attacking them. However, their neglect as a hatchling leaves them crippled, and they are weak compared to other breeds, causing them to stay with their masters for protection.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When the third sick and starving baby appeared in the cooled ashes of the Fire Pit, everyone wondered where they were coming from. Who could treat and abandon these hatchlings so cruelly. While Lyricist and the Nocturnes guarded the Garden in daylight, Teal'c led the Embers for a night-time shift to try and find out who was dropping these babies.

The third was named Mara, surprisingly not burned at all, and raised by Herbie and Wonderous, with the support of the Healers and the Verdant community. She was shy, untrusting, wary of everyone despite the best efforts of her adoptive parents. She attached herself for a time to her adopted sibling, Voco, but raged and could not forgive the time he spent helping anyone else.  She finally settled alone in a far corner of the Garden, tending it as her only love.  Her garden flourished, beautiful, lush and sweet, while she worked on it, angry, suspicious and bitter.
