White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Amyrlin is the head of her village where females are the leaders and the males are in charge of day to day necessities. Amyrlin met her true love Car'a'carn, when she was visiting other dignitaries at a mountain summit. It was the first time that she had met a male who did not come across as arrogant or bloated with his own self worth. After a few other secret meetings there was no denying she was in love and while neither were able to relinquish their position, they swore their love to each other with the blessings of their families. The two of them had a long distance union until their daughter Lews stepped in as Carn's successor and he moved to be with his love. They also have another daughter Chloe who seems to be following in her mothers footsteps when not cooking new and 'exciting' dishes for her father.
