Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Noctalla is a guardian.  She has saved many people, but they dumped her in the cave anyway.  All her siblings are dead.  Noctalla is a proud parent and is very kind and protective of all her friends and family.  She loves the meat of small game and is usually the first to catch them.  She is very fast and swift and can make sharp turns around trees, but when disaster strikes, her shield gets caught in the branches and she is stuck until someone finds her and untangles her tail.  Noctalla uses her large claws and teeth to kill, but they are also good for other things like marking territory with the usual "N" signature she leaves in the bark of trees.  She is also an excellent swimmer and loves to chase fish and water dragons in games of tag.  Noctalla is a very kind and sweet dragon, until you disturb her friends and family...
