Considered heralds of ill fortune, Omen Wyrms are usually found in areas previously ravaged by disaster or strife, blending in amongst the foliage. Due to the unique appearance and texture of their bodies, they often pass as dead trees as they wait for unsuspecting prey. Their haunting cry—like that of a hollow-sounding horn—is a sure signal to run: it is always followed by the dragons’ furious wrath, which manifests in the form of fiery cascades. Escape from an Omen Wyrm is possible, however; it is said they will not dare follow their quarry across running water, no matter the cause of their vexation.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Rumbley makes sure everyone knows how stealthy she is being by grinding her scales across rocks and bugling as loud as she can to draw attention to her great feats of stealth, accompanied by a telepathic scream, "THIS! IS! STEALTH!!!" Some point out that 'stealth' precludes attention, but that encourages Rumbley to 'stealthily' go on a rampage. When she's really upset, she will add fire to her steathy display, so that she melts the permafrost around her and causes avalanches. If you hear a great rumble echoing through the Northern Spires, it is a sign that somewhere in the distance, Rumbley is being stealthy.
