Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Christmas in My Home Town came from the volcano community of HD 7514, where celebrations of the early-winter holidays were relatively restrained. She moved to Dewberry View in November and was astounded by the activities and decorations. People were curious about what she and her community do for the holidays, particularly the Christmas carols sung at HD 7514. Home Town was embarrassed to answer that the only festive songs she knows are a jawful of "the classics" that everyone and their ochredrake knows, plus a catchy but probably not-appropriate-for-wassailing song she learned as a hatchling about bats using their noses and birds laying weapons. (The youngsters listening there exchanged knowing looks but stayed quiet.) Every year, Home Town's cave is one of the sparsest in Dewberry View, since she isn't used to ostentatious displays. Sometimes, there's nothing festive at all. Although nobody says it outright, it appears she's given a pass because she's a solstice dragon.
