Diamondwing Dragons are named for the myriad tiny scales that grow on their wing membranes, lending them a faceted, lustrous appearance. These meticulous creatures will spend months ranging far and wide to collect the shiniest trinkets and gemstones to adorn their nests. Once his nest is complete, a male Diamondwing will perform an elaborate aerial dance hoping to impress potential mates with his beauty and prowess.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. No matter where light sources are, Winged Rascal seems to always know how to pose so not only does her head reflect some light into the dominant eye of some hapless individual, she can move and position herself naturally enough to make it seem she's unaware that she's making someone uncomfortable. She occasionally does this to harmlessly annoy a target she dislikes or help annoy someone that a friend or family member dislikes. Sometimes, she's invited to parties to be suspended right beneath the ceiling, so when she wraps her wings around her body and spins around, the room looks rather dazzling.
