Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Found got his name because of how Kaini, his tamer, came to know him. As an egg, he was left outside the meadow where her dragons dwell, and she came upon him as night fell one evening. Noticing the egg's bright shine in the dark, Kaini took him to Morelen, the guardian dragon who protects the clan's eggs. Morelen took him in, and protected him as she did the rest of the clan's young. Kaini closely watched him hatch and grow, coming to love the gold dragon very much. She would play with him as a hatchling, watch him run around and try to fly, eager to show off.

Eventually he grew to be a little too big to frolic with the human, but Found still finds ways to amuse Kaini. Often he will let her climb on his back and ride him as he flies, a pastime that Kaini wouldn't trade for the world. To this day she wonders who left Found outside her secret meadow. She wishes she could thank them for the wonderful friend they gave her.
