Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Brickbat exudes a smell of carnations and peaches, which becomes more apparent whenever she wiggles her wings. It won't go away: a mere hour after scrubbing it out at the spa or the nearby river, the smell is back, more flowery and fruity than before. According to the well-traveled members of the black clan, she is not unique among dragons, although she is the only black dragon they know to have this trait. They're not complaining; it's kind of nice, even soothing to some, and Brickbat would make excellent decor if she could hold still. She is unable to hunt using stealth, so she makes up for it with speed and devastating force.
