Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Agrimenthe makes enchanted "plates" that, when exposed to light, will capture an image of whatever is before it. In order to use them without blurring they need to be exposed to light at once. Argimenthe makes custom camera obscuras to utilise his plates, with a coverable lens hole and a slit with thick, black fabric to allow access while blocking light. The user closes the lens cap, inserts a plate, removes the parchment sheath from the plate, and then, when the camera is set up, they can capture an image simply by uncovering the lens hole. Teleportation and wyrm rifts tend to mess up the plates, so they must be exported the old-fashioned way, by the likes of Arementum. Agrimenthe has a lot of lumina customers for some reason. On his off days, he often goes into the hills above Nworset and tries to capture beautiful landscapes and portraits of birds with his personal camera obscura and photo-plates.
