Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Jellyleg Fairy was first called only Jellyleg, but she wasn't very fond of her name. She understood it, though; she wasn't very graceful. When she was on land her feet shook and she stumbled over nothing.

But simply because she understood why she was called what she was called did not mean she liked to be named after one of her inadequacies. This caused her to be shy and withdrawn, even from the Lady who had raised her.

Even so, she did occasionally play with the Lady, and it was during one of those times her whole life changed. She has never told anyone else, but it is the most important day in her life.

It was the first time she was playing with the Lady in the water, and the first time the Lady saw her move anywhere but on land. "You are so graceful, just like a fairy!" She didn't know what a fairy was supposed to be, but the compliment changed her perspective on herself, and from that day on she changed her name and became the kind, confident Waterhorse she is today.
