Aww... It’s a cute baby drake. It’s very curious.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

Buckram is very patient and nice. His master is fortunate he's around because he is always fetching her beanbag toy. She'll throw it away, and he'll have to run to where it landed and take it back to her, where, for some reason, she'll throw it again. The beanbag seems to be Master's favorite toy because she handles it so often, but she keeps losing it. Buckram repeatedly has to bring it back, wishing to tell Master, "No! Don't throw this! It's your favorite toy!" Sometimes, he'll walk to her with the toy clamped in his jaws and resist giving it back for a moment because he's worried she'll throw it again.
