White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Star is the first surviving child of Lord Icecloud and his secondary mate, Dawn-of-December, and is first in line in leadership to the cave. He is kind and gentle and while he guards the cave with his father, he enjoys playing with the hatchlings and letting them sleep under his feathered wings. He senses inner hostility from his father's lifemate, Lady Vortex, but he rarely sees her as she is always flying with the storms, brooding her life away. Star-of-Wonder himself has never felt rage or brooding thoughts, nor does he ever want to.
