White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lord Icecloud is the wise and firm alpha of the hidden mountain cave where the human Silver Healer keeps her dragons. He is very young for an alpha but his healing powers are tremendous, and he would never dream of harming another; if there is physical danger, he sends out Sunstrider Dream and Midnight Sunbeam out to protect the cave. While his lifemate is Lady Vortex, he mates often with the lone adult silver in the cave, Dawn-of-December, and secretly prefers her over his actual lifemate.
