Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

It is hard to tell how Rosebuds will respond to any given situation. His morals, attitude, beliefs, and behavior will flip from one occasion to the next, with no apparent rhyme or reason to it.

One day he may be a pacifist, advocating life and health for all. A few hours later he's a raging force of nature, as fearsome as his Destruction cousins, laying waste to all in his path with devastating magic and overwhelming strength. Then, in the blink of an eye, he's apathetic, barely willing to move from wherever he lands.

"I am of Change," he explains when challenged on his mood swings, "not of dormancy and stagnation. What I do, no matter how random it seems, is always what's necessary to cause the world around me to change in some way."

Needless to say, Rosebuds' behavior does tend to frustrate others, especially the other Avatars of Change whose actions are rather more subtle. They would prefer he left the mayhem to the Destructions, and stopped giving Changes a bad name.
