Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. No matter where it goes or what you do, you find this hatchling staring at you.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Currently a tutor for younger Halloween dragons, Wes wants to be a director and producer of theatrical works. He's had writing talent since he was very young, and he has a good eye for what is important in a story and what unnecessary fluff to remove. His goal is to produce scary and absurd works that explore the nature of reality. He's considering joining one of many human-owned theatres, since humans are shorter-lived and therefore (probably) more open to new ideas, but he would have to work a little harder to remove any fears and disapproval they have of grave dragons.
