Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Geflimmer's outside is quiet and unemotional—neither shy nor welcoming, but rather standing aside coldly. However, there's a little delicate tenderness lying under that exterior, hidden like seeds beneath the snow—a little, sad smile here, a gentle gesture there. No one knows why—there's just something in her heart that closes her off from the world. She loves to make carvings of ice, encoding feelings in icy cold figures. The only time she smiles, even slightly, is when someone compliments the sculptures.

Devmani, a male Geode, arrived into her life slowly. He started showing up to watch her work, commenting on the similarities between the structures of crystals and ice. He'd always say something nice. He began to stick around and watch it melt with her, commenting on the sometimes transitory nature of external beauty. The truly beautiful things are always hidden, he says. She loves him for knowing that, and always gives him the brightest smile she has.
