Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has quite a temper and its eyes glow a bright yellow.

And look! Flames have flared up along its back! It must be close to maturing!

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The leader of the "investigation team" the Fiery Sixes, Heat of Combustion is self-righteous and eager to move things along. Because of his size, strength, and great confidence, he does most of the group's "fieldwork", which consists mostly of watching other dragons, fighting outsiders, and convincing members of authority to let them snoop. He tries to feign stupidity, pretending to be his cohort's "brutish dummy", but he's too proud not to school others when they're wrong, so he's not very good at being dumb. He sometimes ends up reluctantly doing his group's homework as well just so they can avoid getting in trouble or hurry up and hang out with him.
