Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Chronos are often considered to be the most elusive of all Xenowyrm subspecies: they live in the darkest and densest forests, far from civilization. They are masters of time magic, allowing them to manipulate the flow of time at will. It is said that Chrono lairs are protected by a field of magic that makes the minutes tick by at a slow pace for any unwanted visitors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Unlike his mate, who is constantly revising her decisions, Time for a Hundred Indecisions has a hard time deciding on any one course of action; thus he usually remains in total inaction. His mate's revising of her plans probably doesn't help him any. However, he is more aware than most of his extended family how out-of-order they are: he was with his mate for several decades before her parents hatched. While most of the other dragons are either disturbed by this and-or don't believe it, such discrepancies are commonplace among chronomantic dragons.

When not waffling, Indicisions is struggling to make up his mind. Usually he gets dragged along by his mate who is off to do something, then once she has catalyzed a course of action he focuses her and gets her to stick with the plan without further revisions.
