Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kurumiru dwells within a forest filled with enchanted trees, many of which hold properties considered essential for constructing magical flying brooms. As such, he is forever encountering adventurers and apprentice witches in the forest, on various personal or professional quests for pieces of the enchanted trees. As it happens, most of these visitors to the forest need directions or instructions on which plants can be safely eaten. Kurumiru tries his best to help those he feels are worthy, but he also finds that there are plenty of humans who will stubbornly refuse his advice or are simply seeking the forest for selfish reasons. Lately, he's taken to only offering aid to those who can carry on an intelligent conversation with him about flying broom mechanics. Kurumiru feels that this is a good decision, as not only is the conversation a test of patience and knowledge, it also offers an opportunity for him to learn more about an unusual arcane craft.
