Honey Drakes are small, energetic creatures that feed almost exclusively on flower nectar, honey, and insects. The myriad scales covering their bodies protect them from the stings of angry bees as they feed from hives, though these dexterous and wily drakes rarely need the protection. Though notably silent most of the time, Honey Drakes are capable of producing a purr-like thrum that seems to calm bees down, and their ravenous appetite for nectar results in a free meal for the hive, harvested from the drakes’ own scales.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Pollen Puff has trained his humans to serve him. Actually, since they so willingly serve him anyway, he probably didn't really have a hand in training, but he likes to think he's that clever. They house him, clean him, and entertain him for free, and he's allowed to run around all day and eat all the bugs and dirt he finds inside the flat as well as visit the flowers in the woods near the town. The humans also pick up his droppings, but whether they do depends on where he defecates, apparently. It's strange that Pollen Puff's humans will bark at him loudly if he poops in some places and not in others. He surmises that they are too dumb to recognize that the ground is the ground no matter where it is, so he's considering leaving a lot of poop around in different places in the hope that they will learn.
