Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fly Knight is named so because he has grown to be slightly smaller than the alpha male, Black Knight.

As a hatchling, he was adopted by the Knight Pack, specifically Stalking Knight, because the pair hadn't produced an egg that season. Black Knight accepted him eventually and even allowed him to remain with the pair into adulthood.

Each year he does his best to attract a mate, even Stalking Knight, and so far he has been unsuccessful.

Humans have introduced a female to Fly Knight but she either wasn't looking for a mate or wasn't interested.

Fly Knight is an extremely good hunter and his solo hunts have a high chance of being a success.

He now has a mate, a female called Navy Knight.
