Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is white and fluffy, and loves company.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Though unable to read in any language, Fluffy Cloud Heaven does recognize the numbering format that the local mountain dwellers use. Whenever he gets his hands on a book, he pretends to read it while actually playing a little game: he flips through the pages, and with every flip, each number's tens place is raised by one. 3, 23, 37, 41, 59, 63, and so on. He might do it starting from the final pages of the book and going backwards. If he "miscounts", he starts over. To the other cloudplumes, it's obvious that he isn't reading the words, but that's all right because they are also illiterate. They believe that since he's still young, he has a good long while to start learning, and he's outgoing enough to convince his caretakers to travel around the mountainside to seek out humans with books.
