Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Cagailt, lazy and girlish, is scared to get her bright pink scales dirty and mortally afraid of 'thingies with more than four limbs', which means all insects, spiders and other creepy crawlies. One might think that such a tiny little bug would be of little significance to a fully grown dragon and that an encounter between the two could only result in the dragon squashing the insect, but unfortunately that is impossible for Cagailt to do: she will merely shriek loudly, and flee behind a family member without irrational fears.

When not in terror of creepy crawlies, Cagailt can be found in front of the hearth, a fire kept burning in the middle of the family's cave. She just lounges there, and pesters her younger sister Cabhair into bringing her some food and drink. All attempts from her parents to teach their daughter some proper manners have resulted in nothing but Cagailt sitting more sulkily in front of the hearth, warming herself and mumbling about the cruelty of her relatives.
