Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Guardites are extremely powerful and revered dragons in the cave, who nobody dares challenge. The Guardite of Life is a mystical being, who isn't seen very often. He is only seen during times of great calamity, when there is danger. He will heal any wound and scratch with ease. He is very compassionate, even on the most undeserving of dragons. Even though he is not seen often, he is a very important member of the cave.
