Sunbeam Drakes are the diurnal counterparts to Moonglow Drakes, their eggs having been laid during the daylight hours. They are around the size of a small dog, and while docile, can be flighty and easily startled. Most can be found high in treetops enjoying the bright sunlight, tucking themselves away at the first sign of a storm or impending nightfall. Sunbeam Drakes enjoy flying in the light of the sun, and their treetop dances are beautiful, dazzling, and serene.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Orihime is a cheerful and active dragon that seems to have a sickness that forces her to not shut up. She likes to talk and make friends, and although sometimes too much of the former makes the latter too difficult, she thinks every dragon in the clan is her friend. Also, she has learned enough of human cooking to prepare small dishes that could make anyone empty their stomachs: one of her favorites is the potatoes covered in chocolate and red bean paste, stuffed with fish.

She met Ulquiorra, the Night Glory, on her first week. His uncaring attitude immediately made him one of her main targets, and she spent weeks trying to know him and get him to loosen up a bit. Somehow, the annoyance turned into love, and those two are mates now. In a way, they complement and bring out the best of each other, and at least Orihime has stopped cooking as much as before.
