Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems shy, but loves attention.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Luna Ark is the daughter of Maria Ark and Spencer Mouski, though she was adopted by Gray Tempura, Maria's mate. Luna is the most beautiful of the hatchlings in her cave, though is not actively pursued due to her spacey nature. She is good-natured, friendly, and open to any type of dragon, even those which could be a threat to her, like the vampires. Luna had the power to make those around her fall in love, though she hardly ever uses this.
