Red-Tailed Wyrms are a small but clever breed of dragon. Their innate ability to use air mana allows them to fly, and they are aerial predators with extremely sharp eyesight. They tend to ride on warm air currents, and then swoop out of the sky when they spot prey. Once the wyrm catches its prey, it will constrict its meal before swallowing it whole. They can often be found in human settlements, draped over rooftops or signs to rest between meals.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Giuani lives on the marrow-red rooftops of her favorite human settlement, Geiervele. Or Geierlbrug. Or Geiercheng. It's Geier-something for sure. She can't read, so looking at signage doesn't help. If she ever gets lost on her way there and must ask for directions, she'll describe it rather than name it. Giuani's daily activities may include eating, bathing in the Comand Creek, pooping, looking for jewels, devising Nainguriddo puzzles for the bulletin, and looking for new faces among the humans. When she's done with those, she finds a nice, high resting spot, usually a chimney on a building. She doesn't know what chimneys are for, but she wishes the humans would stop lighting the areas beneath them, making them smoky and hot.
