White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He had an older brother, once. He was unusually fiery for a white and, thus, did not love the female in question. It was after declaring so that he vanished. During his searches for his sibling, this dragon found something else.

He thought it was human, but maybe something else hid beneath those black robes. It smiled and said a lady was waiting for his love. And that, if he refused that love, not only he would lose his life, but all his remaining kin. Just as his foolish brother had before him.

No reason was given as to why. Just that promise.

So he did not love her, even though he pretended, and sired her children. He took on a name that meant a kiss without love, the only irony he'd allow himself, lest the watcher notice.

Aerimia--his mate--has yet to uncover the truth, but when she does, no force in hell will be enough to stop her from seeking to end the shadows that enslaved him.
